The Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Florida International University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor in the Nursing Accelerated Option Foreign Education Physician (FEP) Nursing Program in the Undergraduate Nursing Department. The successful candidate will preferably have a doctorate in nursing, must have a master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution, demonstrated teaching experience and eligible for nursing licensure in Florida. The preferences for areas of nursing specialty include Gerontology, Maternity, Pediatrics, Community Health, Psych/Mental Health, and Adult or Family Health. NWCNHS provides baccalaureate, master¿s, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and PhD programs. NWCNHS is accredited by CCNE. Faculty may teach across programs, in the classroom or through FIU Online. Undergraduate and graduate nursing programs in the NWCNHS are accredited by the CCNE and COA (Nurse Anesthesia). Salary and rank are competitive and commensurate with experience.
