Florida International University, in Miami, Florida is seeking an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, of the College of Engineering and Computing. Duties and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate Engineering courses, such as Structural Analysis (CES 3100), Structural Dynamics (EGM 5421), and Topics in Wind Engineering (CES 5587); pursuing scholarly research on Wind-Structure Interactions or related areas and publishing or presenting such findings in scholarly journals and/or conferences within the field; securing grant funding to support research programs; and participating in Department- and University-wide events, projects, or service, as needed.

Position requires a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
