Job Information

The Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences at FIU invites applications for a faculty position as a Clinical Assistant Teaching Professor in the master’s in health services administration (MHSA) Program located at FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus. The desired candidate must have an earned master’s degree in health services administration/management/policy or a closely related field; a doctoral degree is preferred (can be in an unrelated field). Of particular interest are applicants who demonstrate a history of mentorship, and the ability to work in a team. Must have teaching experience with in-person and fully online courses. Applied professional Healthcare background required. The candidate will have teaching responsibilities in the Master’s (MHSA) in Health Services Administration programs.

 

The mission of the College is to: (a) prepare diverse healthcare professionals who are providers and leaders in the delivery of high quality, accessible, culturally competent, and compassionate care within a highly technological and global environment; (b) to teach, conduct research and practice in service to the community through inter-professional collaboration; (c) to create, promote, expand and validate scientific knowledge and evidence-based practice through interdisciplinary research.
