Job Information

 

A postdoctoral position is available in the Mattfeld Memory and Development Laboratory led by Dr. Aaron T. Mattfeld at Florida International University (FIU).  This position focuses on an NIH funded project to understand developmental mechanisms of memory changes associated with internalizing disorders and sleep. Candidates with significant prior experience in both structural and functional neuroimaging data analysis (e.g., nipype, FSL, AFNI), statistical analysis using Python, R, Matlab and familiarity with high performance computing clusters (e.g., SLURM) are strongly encouraged to apply. The post-doc will work with the mPIs Dr. Aaron Mattfeld and Dr. Dana McMakin, and the project team to optimize data collection, preprocess data, harmonize behavioral, polysomnography, and neuroimaging data, perform analyses, and provide reports and write-up results for publication. The minimum requirement for this position is a PhD in Psychology or closely related field.
